Netflix and true crime really go together. From Forensic Files to Night Stalker, there isn’t a shortage of content on the platform. Now they’re bringing us even more intrigue and mystery with Crime Scene: The Vanishing At The Cecil Hotel. It’s really a story that you have to see to believe, and even then you might not believe it. Director Joe Berlinger (Conversations With A Serial Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes and Paradise Lost) brings you the first season in a new series that examines locations in true/contemporary crime. This first season is all about the Cecil Hotel.
The Cecil Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles is home to some of the worst of the worst in the city. Serial killers, untimely deaths, and finally the mysterious disappearance of Elisa Lam. Security footage captured her last moments, her hands twisting and moving in erratic patterns, it ignited a fire on social media. It’s a deep look into one of LA’s most dangerous and nefarious locales.
The show releases on Netflix on February 10th. It’s first season runs for four fifty minute episodes. Are you going to join the investigation into the fascinating and dark hotel?
