As reported by THR, Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 star Chris Pine is in talks to star in eOne and Paramount’s Dungeons And Dragons movie.
The film, set to release on May 27th, 2022, is going to be directed by Game Night duo John Francis Daly and Jonathan Goldstein. Those two are also writing the screenplay for the film. There are still a lot of unknowns with the film. The biggest being where exactly in the D&D world the film will take place in.
There’s a lot of areas and cities to be explored. With this film and the recently announced live-action series, there is so much ground to be covered. Although, we still have a little over two years before the film officially releases. So we should find out in the next year what the storyline for the film will be. And who else is going to be starring in this film.
It’s been awhile since the last Dungeons and Dragons film. The 2000 film was a slight let-down and didn’t spawn a franchise, as hoped.
