It’s been nearly 30 years since FBI agent Clarice Starling took on Hannibal Lecter and Buffalo Bill.

Now she’s back, and the silence is over.

Check out the first teaser for CBS’ Silence of the Lambs sequel series Clarice below.

Alright, so this is one of those teasers that’s very much a tease. We don’t get to see much of what Clarice will actually look like. However, fans can catch glimpses of what appears to be the lair of Buffalo Bill, the skin-peeling serial killer from the original movie.

The series sees Rebecca Breeds (The Originals) take up the role of Clarice Starling, originally portrayed by Jodie Foster. The CBS show also maintains a tie to the original film. Marnee Carpenter, who played the senator’s daughter kidnapped by Buffalo Bill in the movie, will appear in the series.

Here’s the official synopsis from CBS:

Clarice is a deep dive into the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice’s bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. However, her complex psychological makeup that comes from a challenging childhood empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man’s world, as well as escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.

Clarice premieres on CBS Thursday, February 11 at 10pm. (For those keeping track, that’s right around the 30th anniversary of the film on February 14.)
