To celebrate the ten year anniversary of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Mondo is releasing new posters. These posters, done by artist Matt Ryan Tobin, are absolutely beautiful. Each variation is of the girl of Scott’s dreams, Ramona Flowers. Each print is $50 and there are three of them. The first has Ramona with pink hair. Second, we have Ramona with green hair. Lastly, Ramona has blue hair.

The Edgar Wright film from 2010 is one of the best adaptations of a comic book/manga/graphic novel story out there. In the pantheon of adaptations it probably stands the tallest with a faithful translation. The posters are available for purchase tomorrow, September 10th at 9:00am Pacific/11:00am Central/12:00pm Eastern at Mondo Drop. The only kicker for this is that the posters only ship to the US and Canada. So you might have to do some finagling with shipping options for people outside those territories. They’re expected to ship starting in October 2020.

If you notice a similarity between this artwork and the album art for Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness by Smashing Pumpkins, you’re not wrong. Mondo had this to say about the posters.

All that’s to say we’re impossibly excited to have a new poster for SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD by Matt Ryan Tobin! Matty’s poster celebrates both the girl of Scott’s dreams, Ramona Flowers in her infinite radness, as well another pretty iconic staple of pop culture with the initials “S.P.” This poster is available in three color variants, just like Ramona’s ever-changing hair. She dyes it every week and a half, dudes. Get used to it.
