Eternals

Well if you’re looking at the official title image above, you’ll have guessed this change. The Eternals is no more. Now it’s just, Eternals. With the COVID-19 pandemic, Marvel had to change their plans. So, this meant that Black Widow moved from it’s original May slot to the November slot. Eternals moved from that slot to a February 2021 slot. The official dates for both films are November 6th, 2020 for Black Widow. Eternals comes out on February 12th, 2021.

With the pandemic still raging, it remains to be seen if Black Widow is going to hit that target date. Marvel already underwent some restructuring in their schedule. With how tight that schedule normally is, another round of postponements would surely hurt.

If Guardians Of The Galaxy was the most important Marvel film, then Eternals is the next step from that film. The cosmic team’s history spans centuries. They’ve been hiding among humans for years, but the events of Avengers: Endgame forces them out of hiding.

Chloe Zhao is directing the film and it’s cast is quite huge. The cast includes Richard Madden as Ikaris, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayak as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harrington will also appear as Dane Whitman or Black Knight.

So what do you think of Eternals? Are you psyched for this one?
