Marvel concept artist Andy Park tweeted some content art for the upcoming Hawkeye series.
A cropped version of the photo debuted during the Disney+ special Expanding the Universe. You can check out the full concept art of Kate Bishop below.
“I hear some people are having MCU withdrawals,” Park’s tweet begins. And that’s certainly true. Marvel fans have been in a bit of a content drought lately. First, COVID-19 delayed production on a number of series and films. Then, the studio didn’t have a film panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year.
With new Marvel updates so scarce, it’s nice to see even a little bit more from Hawkeye. Hopefully, we’ll hear more from the MCU soon.
More about the Hawkeye series
Disney+ is currently working on a Hawkeye TV show. The series follows the adventures of the titular archer, fighting side-by-side with protege Kate Bishop. In the MCU timeline, the series happens between Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War. (In other words, during the five years people were Thanos-snapped out of existence.)
Jeremy Renner will reprise his film role as Hawkeye. Casting for Kate Bishop has not yet been announced. Early rumors indicated Hailee Steinfeld might play the character. However, Steinfeld stated in an interview she was focusing on her music career.
During Expanding the Universe, Disney+ released additional concept art for the series. Check it out below:
Other major Marvel series set for Disney+ include The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki.
