On July 15th, NBCUniversal will be adding yet another streaming service for viewers, Peacock.
The streaming service will be available starting July 15th in the United States going toe-to-toe with the likes of Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. Compared to these other giant streaming services, Peacock promises a tier of content that is absolutely free to stream, with premium content being available for $4.99. The price will definitely pique the interest for those that have already consumed every piece of content on other platforms and are looking for something new to watch.
Unfortunately, Peacock will not be available for Roku or Amazon Fire devices. A deal between Roku or Amazon has not been set for the streaming service, so those with one of these devices will be in a state of limbo. In a similar vein, HBO’s newest streaming service, HBO Max is also unavailable on Roku or Amazon Fire devices.
There are other ways that you can bring the NBC streaming service to your home. Peacock will be available on many Smart TV’s, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, as well as Comcast Xfinity set top devices. Peacock will also be available on any web browser or mobile device.
