Everyone’s favorite mystery solving gang is back for a Halloween adventure in Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!
Although it’s still summer, Warner Bros. released the trailer for the Halloween movie starring the Scooby Gang. In the trailer, we get a glimpse of a few special guests. We see Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and the DC Batman villain, Scarecrow.
This is the first Halloween movie mystery for the gang. Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! follows the gang as they battle Arkham Asylum escapee Jonathan Crane and his mutated pumpkin army. Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby join forces with the help of Bill Nye and Elvira to get to the bottom of all the spookiness.
The Scooby-Doo franchise is no stranger to crossovers and guest appearances. Just to name a few, the gang has crossed paths with The Teen Titans, Johnny Bravo, Kiss, Supernatural, and Bobby Flay. So adding the beloved host of a children’s science television show was the obvious next move.
The voice acting ensemble of Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! includes Frank Welker, Grey Griffin, Matthew Lillard, and Kate Micucci. Cassandra Peterson will voice her famous character, Elvira, and Bill Nye the Science Guy will voice himself.
If this movie is like any other Scooby-Doo adventure, it is sure to include plenty of laughs, goofs, and Scooby Snacks. Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! is set to hit digital and DVD later this year.
