Scary Movie star Regina Hall spoke about what her character would be up to in the sequel. The Jennifer Hudson Show welcomed the fan-favorite actor this week. Hall has one question about the upcoming Scary Movie. Are Brenda and Ray married by now? The actress admitted, “Ray was having issues back then so…” It’s a really charming clip that you should check out down below!
“That is what the ghosts are telling me.” Hall joked, “Yes, they’re writing something. I honestly don’t know anything about it, I don’t know where Brenda fits in, I don’t know what Brenda is doing 25 years later.”
“You know what, it was easy, because nobody thought it was going to be a hit. Well, no one thought it was going to be a major hit.” The star praised the “great” Keenen Ivory Wayans. Hall added, “It was fun. Anna [Faris] and I were really close. Vancouver was beautiful. It was great.”
Will Regina Hall Be In The New Scary Movie?
Miramax’s Scary Movie’s return announcement late last year prompted some shock. The Wayans family is involved along with Miramax. Hall and Faris are two names that fans absolutely want to see back in the picture. Nothing has been confirmed yet. The Scary Movie braintrust is excited to revisit these movies.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the new Scary Movie and work with each other again,” the Wayans family said. “This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago. We remember people laughing in the aisles and hope to see that happen again.
They added, “We look forward to working with Jonathan Glickman and his team at the new Miramax to bring these laughs to theaters, where they belong. It’s a double reunion.”
