Prime Video’s Lord of the Rings universe expanded today. The streamer announced two new stars joining The Rings of Power for season 3. Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan will appear in the fantasy series’ upcoming episodes.
Unfortunately for fans, Prime Video kept the official announcement vague; we don’t have any details about the characters these actors will play in the LOTR universe just yet. So far, we just know Bower will appear as a series regular in season 3, while Marsan will appear in a recurring role.
Bower’s list of credits features some of the biggest fantasy franchises of the last 15 years. His appearances include roles in the Harry Potter and Twilight feature universes, as well as playing King Arthur in Camelot and Henry Creel/Vecna in Stranger Things.
Marsan appeared in seven seasons of the series Ray Donovan. His feature credits include appearances in recognizable franchises like Marvel’s Deadpool, Mission: Impossible, Sherlock Holmes, and Fast & Furious.
Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 3 is currently in pre-production, with filming set to begin this spring.
