FX’s highly anticipated series Alien: Earth is set to make a major impact at SXSW! The new series is kicking off with an immersive experience leading up to its Summer 2025 premiere.
From March 7-8, fans in Austin will have the chance to explore a mysterious wreckage site! There they can uncover exclusive details from the series, and take part in exciting photo ops and merchandise giveaways.
SXSW 2025: Alien: Earth by FX
Upon entering, visitors will be greeted by interactive elements and heart-pounding thrills that bring the world of Alien: Earth to life. Fans will undergo an alien parasite scan before receiving credentials and instructions for their exploratory mission through the wreckage. They’ll get up close with alien specimens—but with a twist: not all of the creatures survived the crash intact. A containment breach has occurred, and hidden dangers lurk within.
FX’s Alien: Earth 360 marketing campaign will continue in the coming months. It will be featuring social video teasers, high-impact out-of-home displays, multi-market stunts, and two more immersive experiences. The Westin Downtown Austin, which overlooks the SXSW activation, will also be wrapped in FX’s Alien: Earth key art throughout the festival.
