A Daredevil: Born Again star gave a surprising update on her character’s status for Season 2. Deborah Ann Woll was at the Disney+ series premiere in New York City last night. The Karen Page actor told Entertainment Tonight that she’ll be back for Season 2. A lot of Marvel fans are absolutely ecstatic to hear Woll will return for more Daredevil: Born Again.
She said, “The scripts are amazing. I am deeply honored to be a part of the storyline that Dario [Scardapane] has written. I’m impressed and thrilled.”
Before Daredevil: Born Again began filming, fans were anxious that something bad was going to happen to Karen and Foggy Nelson. The actress told ET that those concerns are probably a bit overblown at the current moment.
“I think I’m within my rights to say we’re nowhere near that storyline,” Woll shared. “I think we dealt with a lot of that storyline and what that meant in the third season of the show. We told our own spin on it. And, now we can continue her story that wasn’t there originally.”
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Brings Back Familiar Faces

Daredevil: Born Again’s showrunner fought to bring back Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson. He told Empire Magazine that Karen and Foggy were absolutely crucial to the story. At one point Dario Scardapane feared he might get canned for being too push.
“That was actually one of the first things I said to the bosses,” Scardapane revealed. “You can’t do this show without Karen and Foggy. They’re Matt’s family. They’re the heart of his world. You can’t take them out without explaining why, and if that explanation doesn’t ring true, don’t take them out.”
“I was willing to lose a job over this one,” Scardapane laughed. “Because Season 3 of the Netflix show ended with a dream, with the names on that napkin. If you don’t pay that off, you’re not giving your characters context. You can’t ignore that dream.”
There’s even more Daredevil coverage right here at That Hashtag Show.
