Agatha All Along Season 2 just got a surprising update from Marvel Studios. Kathryn Hahn’s Marvel TV series was an absolute smash for the company. Now, fans want more. But Marvel Television and Streaming Head Brad Winderbaum says they want to make sure they get the perfect story for Season 2. Entertainment Weekly asked him about the continued adventures of Agatha Harkness and Billy. Marvel Studios is absolutely down for more, but they’re not rushing.
Winderbaum began, “I think it’s linear series potential. A show like Agatha, to me, is concept based. Yes, a second season for sure is something that we would want to do, but let’s not rush it. Let’s get the right idea and then make it.”
The Marvel Television boss isn’t wrong! Agatha All Along ended up being a massive driver for Disney+. Multiple sources reported that the MCU favorite’s series ended up bringing in more eyeballs week over week than any other show in this era of Marvel TV. Maybe more impressive is the fact that a WandaVision spinoff show ended up grabbing the zeitgeist years after the 2020 phenomenon. People clearly love Agatha, so expect her again.
Agatha All Along’s Story Will Continue

Fans feared that Agatha All Along wouldn’t end up getting a second season. Patti Lupone told Andy Cohen that Season 2 wasn’t happening. The fandom went into a spiral at those comments. (Lupone speaks her mind basically 100 percent of the time!) But, Winderbaum and Marvel Studios seem adamant about continuing that story in another entry.
Agatha All Along Season 2 won’t be the name of whatever’s next. (Honestly, our titular witch is kind of ghostly at the moment…) But introducing Billy to the burgeoning cast of Young Avengers has to be paid off somehow. Winderbaum had some fun when asked about her comments in the same interview. It just goes to show how incredible the ensemble working on Agatha ended up being.
“What did she say? All I know is Patti’s unbelievable,” Winderbaum smirked. “Her performance in that series is just incredible. That show, that’s one of my favorite things hands down that I’ve been a part of. And the chemistry of that cast and Jac in that showrunner role, it just really was magic. Sorry, that’s cheesy, but it really was.”
