What’s on your bucket list? In the new Netflix feature The Life List, a woman goes on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list – leading to drama, humor, and even romance.

Sofia Carson stars in the film. You can get a first look at it in the trailer below.

Here’s the official synopsis of The Life List from Netflix:

“When Alex Rose’s mother sends her on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list, it takes her on a journey that will make you both laugh and cry as she uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and discovers herself along the way.”

“Alex Rose awakens us to life again,” Carson told Tudum of the role. “The Life List is a portrait of life. Moving through loss with tears in her eyes, a smile on her face, wit on her lips, as she learns to live again.”

The Life List comes from writer/director Adam Brooks, based on the novel of the same name by Lori Nelson Spielman. In addition to Carson, the film also stars Kyle Allen, José Zúñiga, Sebastian de Souza, and Connie Britton.

“When I got the script, I cried, and that’s always a good sign,” Allen told Tudum. “The movie’s like, ‘I’m going to talk about life in direct accordance with death, and I’m going to walk people through it in a really beautiful and constructive way that leaves everyone happier and more fulfilled for what’s happened.’”

The Life List premieres on Netflix March 28.
