Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox would love a call-up to The Avengers. GQ sat down with The Man Without Fear to discuss putting the horns back on in two weeks. It’s clear, the world has changed since Daredevil’s original run concluded. Cox is grateful for the opportunities he’s had to reprise the role. It’s no secret that fans want to see him with all of these other characters.
Cox admitted, “I think it’s more possible than it’s ever been, yeah. I would love to be in one of the Avengers films, or another Spider-Man, or something like that.” If Daredevil: Born Again reaches the heights the creative team is teasing, then there’s a good chance we could see the hero from Hell’s Kitchen in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars.
“For a couple of reasons,” the Daredevil star argued. “One, because over the years I have become a geeky fan of the character, and weirdly, for the character’s sake, feel like it’d be really cool for him to get that kind of upgrade. I would also just love it in terms of what it would do for my chances of getting other movie roles.”
Daredevil: Born Again Bringing Back Tons Of Fan-Favorites
It’s been a busy few weeks for the Daredevil: Born Again showrunner. Scardapane talked to Empire Magazine about getting the Netflix band back together. The creative had to go to bat to get Foggy and Karen a bigger role in the project. Of course, Daredevil fans are delighted to hear it. The hype for this revival is growing stronger by the day. Check out what he had to say right here.
“That was actually one of the first things I said to the bosses,” Scardapane began. “You can’t do this show without Karen and Foggy. They’re Matt’s family. They’re the heart of his world. You can’t take them out without explaining why, and if that explanation doesn’t ring true, don’t take them out.”

“It was much less the world we knew, and more trying to blaze a new trail,” the showrunner continued. “But, in doing so, they’d forgotten some things that really were necessary to the engine of the story.”
“I was willing to lose a job over this one,” Scardapane laughed. “Because Season 3 of the Netflix show ended with a dream, with the names on that napkin. If you don’t pay that off, you’re not giving your characters context. You can’t ignore that dream.”
