Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is proof that it is possible to make a successful video game movie. Heck, the entire film franchise is proof of that. Each and every entry in the franchise has earned both critical acclaim and some pretty hefty box office numbers. Clearly, director Jeff Fowler has been doing something right with the franchise. In fact, he’s been doing something so right that he plans to release Sonic The Hedgehog 4 in theaters on March 19, 2027. Which is pretty remarkable due to the initial negative backlash around Sonic’s appearance, but that’s a story for another day.
Alas, you might not have seen Sonic The Hedgehog 3 in theaters to experience that for yourself. Maybe you don’t have time to head to the theaters? Maybe you just don’t like potentially sharing the theater with dozens, if not hundreds, of other people? Well, now you don’t have to worry about that. Paramount+ has your back in the home theater department. Or at least, they will once the film is available for streaming. Fortunately, that won’t take long at all.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 on Paramount+: Streaming Details
Paramount+ is proud to announce that they will soon be making Paramount Pictures and SEGA’s Sonic The Hedgehog 3 available to stream. How soon, you might ask? Well, they mention that you can stream the film starting on February 18, 2025. As you might expect, you can stream it only on Paramount+ on that date.
Alas though, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 will only be available to stream in the U.S. and Canada. If you live outside of those countries, you’re a bit out of luck at the moment. Fortunately, Paramount+ is working on that issue for their international audience. It’s just that it will take a bit of time, and they only mention that the streaming date “will be announced at a later date”. We will just have to wait for them to come back to us later.
