XO, Kitty is one of the most popular romcoms on Netflix, and for some good reasons. After all, it’s the TV series spinoff of the To all the Boys film trilogy, which won some major critical reception. That trilogy itself is the film adaptation of the young adult romance novel trilogy of the same name by Jenny Han. It was a novel trilogy that spent 40 weeks in the Young Adult fiction section of the The New York Times Best Seller list. Thus, you can understand why the novel trilogy got a trio of movies.
You can also understand then why XO, Kitty is itself so popular. So popular that it already has two seasons so far, totaling 18 episodes. However, this is clearly not enough for Netflix. How else do you explain why they’re announcing a third season for the series? And just in time for Valentine’s Day 2025 to boot? Don’t believe me? Then why not watch the announcement video for yourself, and see if the third season of Kitty’s love story is for you?
XO, Kitty Season 3: Details
Netflix is proud to announce that they are renewing their romantic comedy-drama XO, Kitty for a third season via an announcement video on Instagram. Said video shows Anna Cathcart (who stars as Katherine “Kitty” Song-Covey) receiving a Valentine’s Day gift. Said gift contains the usual bundle of roses, but it also contains a message from Netflix, revealing to her that the third season is in the works and on the way.
Alas, that’s it as far as any details of this third season are concerned. There’s no other info in the announcement video. No cast, no production crew, and definitely not even a release window, let alone a release date. We will just have to wait for Netflix to give us that info at a later date. In the meantime, you can watch the first two seasons of XO, Kitty only on Netflix.
Bonus: Season 2 Key Art and Synopsis
