Bridgerton Season 4 is still filming. But, they have enough filmed to give audiences a little taste of what they can expect from Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Beckett’s love story.

Netflix gave viewers a real treat during today’s Season of Love Fan Celebration. The Queen, Golda Roshuevel, was on-hand to ask the lead couple some questions. Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha will share the spotlight in Bridgerton Season 4. Last season was a massive hit for Netflix, so there’s some real anticipation for whatever comes next.

Fans of Julia Quinn’s book series also hold a soft spot in their heart for the novel that inspires Bridgerton Season 4. (Just like Colin and Penelope, Benedict and Sophie are a fan-favorite couple.) Thompson and Ha already have some of that chemistry developed as they tried to dance out of spoiler territory answering questions from the fans.

Bridgerton Season 4 Offers A Twist On Fairy Tales

Yerin Ha as Sophie Beckett and Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton in Season 4.

Bridgerton’s entire production is famously tight-lipped when it comes to spoilers. So, the stars couldn’t say too much. But, during the fan event today, Thompson did offer a tease for all the fans out there starved for any and all details about what to expect. It’s masquerade ball season at Bridgerton House and that means magical moments are on-deck for Benedict and Sophie.

TUDUM managed to catch up with the Benedict Bridgerton actor. His fan-favorite character is going to have his hands full as the Lady in Silver dances into frame. Last season left Benedict looking for more out of love and life. He’s about to get so much more than what he bargained for!

“The scripts that [showrunner] Jess [Brownell] and her team have come up with are dynamite. They’re really, really, really exciting,” Thompson explained. “The storyline is a bit of a twist on ‘Cinderella.’ You remember being told those stories as a child — the magic and the romance of them. It’s really exciting to have that weaved into the world that we know of Bridgerton … It’s such a great story, but it’s also, I hope, really relatable.”
