It’s now 2025 and Marvel is heading into a new period with Captain America: Brave New World. 2024 only saw one movie release with Deadpool & Wolverine juggernauting its way to a massive box office gross. Captain America: Brave New World might not reach the multiversal heights of that film but it still provides plenty of superhero action for audiences to sink their teeth into.
The bigger question at hand is whether or not the film has a post-credits scene. Most Marvel films have at least one post-credits scene that acts as a fun joke for audiences or a way to tease a future installment. Sitting through the credits is a rite of passage at this point. So does Captain America: Brave New World have one? Here’s what you need to know. And don’t fret, there are absolutely zero spoilers for Captain America: Brave New World in this article.
Does Captain America: Brave New World Have A Post-Credits Scene?

The long and the short of the question is yes. If you’re looking this up on Google while you decide if going to the bathroom now or later would be smart, the scene is at the very end of the credits.
There’s a stylized version of the credits set to a new Kendrick Lamar song that samples “Who’s That Lady” by the Isley Brothers. After that there’s the regular Marvel credits giving everyone that worked on the film their time to shine with a name and credit. Then, finally, after a “Captain America Will Return” message, the post-credits scene plays.
That means you have to sit through the whole credits to get to the good stuff, but trust me. It is well worth your time to sit through this one.
So The End Credits Scene Actually Matters?

Oh very much so. Captain America: Brave New World does feel a bit like a sequel to the 2008 Incredible Hulk film, but it also charts its own course in the history of the MCU. It has the first mention of adamantium outside of Wolverine and this post-credits scene sets up for the future with an ominous tone. That is all you’re going to get, you’ll have to see the film yourself to learn more about it.
Captain America: Brave New World releases in theaters on February 14th, 2025.
