Following the success of Agatha All Along, Marvel Studios and Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas are preparing the next WandaVision spinoff. The new Disney+ series scheduled for 2026 is set to follow the latest version of The Vision as he explores the world outside of The Hex and tries to find his place in it. Naturally, Paul Bettany will return to reprise his role as the Android Avenger, but he won’t be alone. It was previously announced that Todd Stashwick, Faran Tahir (reprising his role from Iron Man), and Ultron himself James Spader would be part of the cast. Now, another award-nominated actor will join their ranks as well.

According to Deadline, Ruaridh Mollica will go from superhero movie spoof The Franchise on HBO to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a series regular on the currently untitled Vision show (though it was rumored at one point to be called Vision Quest after the 1985 West Coast Avengers storyline). While he doesn’t have many Hollywood credits to his name yet, the Scottish-Italian performer earned a British Independent Film Award nomination after starring in Sundance 2024’s Sebastian.

Mollica is reportedly playing a character named Tucker, but no other details are currently available at this time regarding the casting. Based on the ending of Agatha All Along, this character could actually be Billy’s lost twin brother and speedster Tommy (who eventually becomes the Young Avenger known as Speed). After all, Kathryn Hahn’s fan-favorite witch was introduced to the MCU under another name. Alternatively, if the show does end up borrowing elements from Tom King’s acclaimed run on the Vision comic series from 2015, he could be Vin Vision, the son that the hero synthesized along with his wife Virginia and daughter Viv.

However, due to Ultron’s involvement in the project, it’s possible that Mollica’s Tucker could potentially turn out to be Victor Mancha. First introduced in the second volume of Runaways by Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona (and briefly mentioned in the series finale of the underrated Hulu series), True Believers learned that Victor is the son of the killer robot who opposes Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

While we anxiously await more details about this new casting and the highly anticipated series from the House of Mouse and the House of Ideas, stay tuned to That Hashtag Show as we bring you the latest MCU news and more.
