If you missed the news, Black Sabbath is performing their final show in Birmingham, UK this July. They also announced an all-star lineup of heavy metal guests to join them and one of the names included was Papa V Perpetua. To add flames to the fire, Ghost made the announcement on their social media as well.
As we all know, at the end of their concert movie, Rite Here Rite Now, Ghost teased the addition of a new member to the band. The entire movie was teasing the end for the current iteration of their leader, but that didn’t come to pass. This new announcement adds more intrigue that it’s not Papa Emeritus IV on stage for this celebration of Black Sabbath and heavy metal. We’ll have to see when July 5th rolls around.
What do you think is going to happen with Papa Emeritus IV and this new Papa V Perpetua?
