With School Spirits Season 2 officially here, THS caught up with the cast to dive into the shocking twists, evolving relationships, and unforgettable dialogue that fans are loving.
Josh Zuckerman (Mr. Martin) addressed the growing speculation about his character’s morality after the Season 1 finale. “It’s interesting that everyone sees him that way… That first episode really sets the tone, especially when he’s confronted by the students,” he shared.
Nick Pugliese (Charlie) and Sarah Yarkin (Rhonda) reflected on how the new season wastes no time answering big questions—only to introduce even more mysteries. “By the end of the first episode, we get some answers about Maddie and Janet, but those answers just open up new questions,” Pugliese explained.
One of those lingering mysteries is the the dynamic between Mr. Martin and Janet. Fans have speculated whether their connection is purely circumstantial or something deeper. Zuckerman remained vague, saying, “They were the only two people at this school for a decade. Whether it’s romantic or not, there’s a deep connection there.”
And let’s talk about the show’s best comebacks. Rhonda, Charlie, and Claire have some of the sharpest lines, and Yarkin confirmed that much of Rhonda’s slang—like the now-infamous pussy toes—was actually pulled from real 1960s phrases. “They make sure the language feels authentic, and I love that about the writing,” she said.
