Netflix introduced a full season download button. The company announced the UI change in a new blog. They touted releases like Squid Game, One Piece, Bridgerton and Monster in their story. Netflix fans have been asking for a feature like this one for a while. 

Users can download an entire season of a show with a click of the new button. You can find it right next to the share option inside the Netflix app. Once you tap the icon, the full episodes from the season begin downloading automatically. From there, fans can manage all those episodes in the Downloads tab under “My Netflix.”

The streaming landscape has become even more crowded in recent years. But, Netflix has managed to keep a strong hold on viewers. Shows like Stranger Things and Wednesday remain super popular. How many people are still watching? Well, Netflix just raised it’s Standard plan pricing from $15.50 to $18 a few days ago. (The Premium subscription is now $25. Up $2 from before.)

Netflix posted a release and a social media post clarifying their move. Users can now load-up on their favorites all at once. Making it easier is the little menu that defaults to download an entire season. Here’s what the company had to say: 

“Today, we’re adding a much-requested Season Download button for all iPhone and iPad users,” Netflix explained. “This feature, which Android users already know and love, allows you to download every episode in a season with just one tap.” 

Later in the piece the streamer said, “Whether you’re gearing up for a long flight and ready to dive into the new season of The Night Agent, a cross-country train ride with XO Kitty Season 2 keeping you company, or just planning some downtime offline, this feature has you covered with just the click of a button.”
