Night of the Creeps has got to be one of the oddest horror films in existence. It’s basically a strange blend of horror, sci-fi, comedy, mystery, and romance all in one film. Director Fred Dekker had truly created a blender of a genre-buster when he released this film back in August 22, 1986. A genre-buster that became an instant hit even upon release. So much so that it actually became a cult classic virtually upon release, even though Dekker most definitely did not intend for his oddball film to become one.

Thus, you can explain there’s still so much excitement around any release of Night of the Creeps. Especially when excitement revolves around an impending home video release of that cult classic film. One that will be in 4K UHD to boot.

Shout! Factory is proud to announce that they soon will be bringing the 1986 cult classic Night of the Creeps to home video, specifically in 4K UHD + Blu-ray combo. Alas, it will be a bit before we can finally own this cult classic. Shout! Factory plans to release this version of the film on March 5, 2025. Fortunately, we can still preorder it directly from Shout! Factory or Amazon.
