Iron Maiden took to their social media accounts heading from 2024 into 2025 with a message from Bruce Dickinson. In the video, he said goodbye to 2024 and The Future Past World Tour and says hello to 2025 and their upcoming Run For Your Lives World Tour. Check it out below.

Here’s what he said in the video, promising that fans will see stuff that Iron Maiden has never, ever done before.

“Hello folks. This is my tour pass for 2024. That’ll get me anywhere in 2024, but I don’t need that anymore now because 2025 is gonna be something special. Not just because of the tour pass. Honestly, we are pushing the boat out with the tour. Not that I need to tell anybody, ’cause basically the tour is sold out already. So for those of you who have bought tickets, which is like all of you, it’s gonna be really, really cool. I’m really looking forward to it. We’re gonna be doing stuff we’ve never, ever done before, and it’ll be a setlist for the ages. So, I’ll see you there. And it’s not gonna stop in 2025. It’s gonna roll into 2026 ’cause there’s parts of the world that we need to get to that we can’t get to in 2025. So there you go.”

Iron Maiden announced the Run For Your Lives World Tour earlier in 2024 to massive interest from fans. Tour dates in 2025 are all but sold out already with more coming in 2026 for North America and other territories. The tour will cover from their first album Iron Maiden all the way to Fear of the Dark. Covering eras of the band that haven’t been seen live in over 20 years.

What Are They Going To Play On The Run For Your Lives World Tour?

Iron Maiden are only playing songs from Iron Maiden up to Fear of the Dark, so that narrows down what the setlist could look like considerably. As for a setlist, you can probably guess that it’ll include the likes of “Iron Maiden”, “Fear of the Dark”, “Run To The Hills” and other classic songs. The real question is what deeper cuts are the band going to bring out and how long is the setlist going to be?

Run For Your Lives 2025 Tour Dates And Information

Here’s what Iron Maiden and their management had to say about the upcoming tour when they announced it.

Says Bruce Dickinson, “Next year is a very special one for IRON MAIDEN and we’re going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour that’s gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat. If you’ve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! IRON MAIDEN’s definitely gonna get ya!”

Manager Rod Smallwood adds, “50 years of Maiden and I have seen 46 of them! With well over 100 million albums sold and almost 2500 shows in 64 countries and counting, to countless millions of fans, we are all still loving every second and consider every tour a new challenge to bring something different and exciting to our fans. And for this very special one we’re pulling out all the stops!

We will cover classics and fan favourites from the first nine albums, from IRON MAIDEN to FEAR OF THE DARK, many of which we haven’t played in years and many we will likely never play again in the future. We have already been hard at work for months putting together an even more spectacular and elaborate new show which will bring the songs to life more than we have ever been able to do before. This is going to be a huge couple of years for IRON MAIDEN, and Eddie of course, and we are very excited about what we have up our sleeves for you fans throughout the whole of our 50th year. I promise you are all going to be very happy indeed!”
