Dragon Ball DAIMA is the latest in the very long-running Dragon Ball anime franchise. It’s also quite famous for a number of different reasons. Not least of which is the fact that this is the second Dragon Ball anime series to feature the famous Akira Toriyama as the writer. Alas, with his passing back in March 2024, this anime will be the last to do so.
It’s all the more reason to add Dragon Ball DAIMA to your Crunchyroll watchlist. However, some of you might find the experience of watching the anime while reading the English subtitles to be just a bit…taxing. It requires a certain amount of double focus to pay attention to the Japanese audio while reading the English subtitles at the same time, but some folks just can’t do that. Luckily, Crunchyroll is here to help out with that conundrum. How, you might ask? Why, with a long-awaited English dub of the anime, of course. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out the brand new English dub trailer below, and listen for yourself if the English voices are enough for you to want to watch this anime?
Dragon Ball DAIMA: English Dub Details
Crunchyroll is proud to announce the upcoming English dub of Dragon Ball DAIMA with an official dub trailer on YouTube. As you can imagine, said trailer prominently shows off the English cast of the anime series, especially for major characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. All of who are now small children, and thus have similarly high-pitched voices.
Fortunately, we’ll be able to hear more of these tiny English voices fairly soon. The English dub of Dragon Ball DAIMA will make its debut on January 10, 2025 in select territories. If you can’t wait, then you can watch the English sub version right now on Crunchyroll.
