Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- will be the upcoming second season of the anime when it finally makes its debut. As you can tell by the fact that it’s getting a second season, this anime is pretty popular. It’s not hard to see why when you see it too. The high-quality animation and fluid fighting sequences from the first season alone will catch your eye and entrance you. The hints of a rather extensive worldbuilding just adds the icing to this anime cake.

All that explains why Crunchyroll would be so eager to hype up this upcoming second season of the anime. And with a brand new trailer showing off the new opening theme music as well. Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-: OP Trailer Details

I swear, Felix here looks like someone right out of a Final Fantasy game.

Crunchyroll is proud to post their brand new opening (OP) trailer for Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- on YouTube. Said OP trailer features the opening song for that new season: “RawakeR”. This song is a collaborative effort between LiSA, Felix from STRAY KIDS, and Hiroyuki Sawano. Most of them are big names in the anime industry, specifically in regards to their music. You might’ve even noticed their names in the credits of those very anime.

The only odd one out here is Felix, and that’s only because STRAYKIDS is a South Korea boy band. It might seem a bit out of place in an anime…until you remember that Solo Leveling is itself an anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures (Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online, Lycoris Recoil) of a Korean web novel and manhwa by writer Chugong and artist DUBU. This is simply the anime harkening back to its roots here.

It won’t even take long until we find out just how the full opening will go. Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- will make its debut sometime in January 2025. You can watch that and the first season only on Crunchyroll.
