Great news for Yellowjackets fans (not so) patiently awaiting the series’ return. We finally have a premiere date for the upcoming third season.
The show revealed it will return on February 14, 2025 – and released an appropriately Valentine’s Day-themed teaser to drop the news. Check it out below.
Yellowjackets follows a high school girls soccer team stranded in the remote wilderness after a plane crash. The series weaves together the increasingly desperate and savage story of their survival with a flash-forward of the same characters trying to live their lives post-rescue decades later. But these women all have the kind of past that comes back to haunt them.
Returning cast members include Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Simone Kessell, and Elijah Wood. New cast members for the season also include Hilary Swank and Joel McHale.
Blending survival thriller, psychological horror, and coming-of-age drama, Yellowjackets has proven a hit with audiences and critics alike. The series received 10 Emmy nominations across its first two seasons, among other accolades.
Season 3 of Yellowjackets will premiere with two episodes on Paramount+ February 14; the streaming debut will occur two days before the season’s debut on linear, with the Showtime premiere occurring Sunday, February 16.
You can stream the first two seasons of Yellowjackets on Paramount+ now. Season 1 is also currently streaming on Netflix.
