“Every choice has led to this”. Today, Paramount Pictures released the teaser trailer for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The film is the direct sequel to 2023’s Dead Reckoning. The Final Reckoning will be the 8th film in the Tom Cruise-led action franchise. Given that “Final” is in the name, it appears this could be the last entry in the franchise for Cruise. However, the actor has stated his desire to keep making more Mission: Impossible films in the future. Whether this turns out to be the swan song for Ethan Hunt or not, we will all find out May 23, 2025 when the film releases. Keep reading to check out the action-packed teaser trailer and poster.

ABOUT THE FINAL RECKONING
The film synopsis is light on details, simply stating; “Our lives are the sum of our choices. Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.” However, we do know the film will continue the story that started in Dead Reckoning with Ethan Hunt and his allies taking on a dangerous AI called The Entity. Joining Cruise in the film are Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, and Pom Klementieff.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is directed by Christopher McQuarrie who previously helmed Rogue Nation, Fallout, and Dead Reckoning.
