The Alien franchise has been a very long-running and extremely popular science fiction horror franchise, with Alien: Romulus being the most recent addition to the film series. It’s not hard to see why either. Watching the titular alien stalk our band of heroes(?) through the corridors of a starship or space station is always a treat. Complete with the ever-present tension that builds up right before it strikes. All helped by the helpful motion tracker, which only shows contact and direction, but not height. A bad thing for our heroes, but a good thing for the audience to enjoy.

Alas, perhaps you missed Alien: Romulus when it premiered in theaters on August 16, 2024? Perhaps your schedule does not allow for a theater experience? Maybe you just don’t like sharing a crowded theater with multitudes of other people? If either are the case, then perhaps a streaming session at home is more your jam? Well, don’t worry about it. Hulu has your back. At least, they will once they begin streaming it.

Hulu is proud to announce that they will soon stream Alien: Romulus-the latest in the Alien film series-on their streaming platform. How soon, you might ask? Well, according to them, this sci-fi horror delight from director Fede Álvarez will make its streaming debut on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Of course, you will need to subscribe to Hulu to watch it when it does make its debut.

Of course, the other option to paying for Hulu is to get the film on home video. In that case, you can actually download Alien: Romulus right now from digital retailers like Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. If you want the physical media in the form of a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and/or DVD though, then you’ll have to wait for December 3, 2024. That’s when all of the physical media of this film will finally be available for purchase.

Tune back in to THS to find out more about Alien: Romulus and other sci-fi films when we do.
