“M3GAN” was a 2022 surprise horror hit from Blumhouse. Now the A-I nightmare is back for “M3GAN 2.0“, scheduled to be released on June 27, 2025. At this year’s BlumFest panel at New York Comic Con we learned that filming on the horror film has recently wrapped up and that this next film will be “bigger and more expansive”.

CHATTING WITH ALLISON

One of the stars of the “M3GAN” franchise Allison Williams was guest for BlumFest, who I had a chance to talk with after the panel. During our conversation, she shared her thoughts on the success of the film and what it meant to her. We also spent a few minutes talking about her coping mechianisms for watching horror movies, since she has a hard time watching them. It was a fun conversation that you can check out below!

MORE ABOUT “M3GAN”

“M3GAN” is a marvel of artificial intelligence. A lifelike doll that’s programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. Designed by Gemma, a brilliant roboticist, she can listen, watch and learn as it plays the role of friend and teacher, playmate and protector. When Gemma becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she decides to give the girl an M3GAN prototype. A decision that leads to unimaginable consequences.
