BLUE LOCK is one of the most popular anime series in recent times, which is rather fascinating given the story. It’s basically a story of people taking soccer way too seriously. Heck, they take it so seriously that one of the genres of this sports anime is “psychological thriller”. When that’s one of your genres, then you start to wonder maybe, just maybe, if the soccer players might need to chill out just a bit.
And yet, a whole bunch of people love this anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (As the Gods Will, Jagaaan). Enough so that Crunchyroll licensed the second season of this anime series from studio Eight Bit (How to Keep a Mummy, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Shy) for streaming. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out the latest official trailer for BLUE LOCK season 2 below, and see for yourself if this season has enough soccer thriller for you?
