One Piece is a hit anime series that is the anime adaptation of the 1997 manga of the same name by Eiichiro Oda. An anime that, I might add, is currently up to 1,120 episodes and even has a live-action adaptation from Netflix. Meanwhile, Yahtzee is a 1956 dice-based board game from Milton Bradley Company. At least, before Hasbro acquired and assimilated it back in 2007.

So what do these two things have in common? Normally, not much. However, The Op Games is looking to change that situation. All starting with YAHTZEE®: One Piece.

That’s a lot of Straw Hats to see in a single Yahtzee game.

The Op Games is proud to announce YAHTZEE®: One Piece. As you might guess from the product images, this is a collaboration in order to produce a One Piece-themed Yahtzee game. What’s so One Piece about it, you might ask? Well, for starters: the dice cup is a recreation of Monkey D. Luffy’s iconic straw hat, complete with a triple stitch pattern on it that replicates the same repair work Nami performed on it after Buggy damaged it.

That’s not all, though. YAHTZEE®: One Piece also comes with a grand total of five dice featuring some of the core members of the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper all feature on these special dice. And that’s it as far as One Piece stuff is concerned. The game does come with a standrd pencil and Yahtzee book though, just so you can play the game.
