To celebrate “The Last of Us Day”, HBO is proud to present a TLOU Day official teaser for The Last of Us season 2 on YouTube. Why today, you might ask? Well, within the game and the TV series, September 26 is the day that mutant Cordyceps fungus kickstarted the zombie apocalypse. Thus, it has become the official day for celebrating the franchise.
And to further celebrate the franchise, HBO also gives us an idea of when we’ll get to see this second season. According to the teaser, The Last of Us season 2 will make its debut sometime in 2025. The exact date will be something we will look out for later. However, you can watch the first season to catch up only on MAX.
