If you prefer to avoid the traditional spooks and scares of Halloween but still wish to embrace the festive spirit, I have an excellent event for you. Situated just east of Los Angeles, the Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns. This enchanting experience is suitable for all ages and scare levels.
The illuminated trail features thousands of exquisite, hand-carved pumpkins, enhanced by a captivating light show that fosters a magical atmosphere without any fright. I was particularly impressed by the larger-than-life displays. These include a variety of themes such as dinosaurs, Hollywood icons, beloved musicians, a nautical seascape, dragons, and much more.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
There is food and beverages to purchase. It’s very much Carnival Fair, and you can even purchase a smore’s making kit. I also saw signs for Modelo. So, I think it’s fair to assume there is alcohol for purchase.
PARKING AND SERVICE ANIMALS
As far as parking, there is Premium Parking for a fee and free parking is located just past the park entrance on Santa Anita. The attendant will direct you from there to the appropriate lots.
The event is Service Animal friendly, but the pets have to stay at home.
