Fans of Pixar Animation Studios might be aware that Inside Out 2 has already made its U.S. theatrical debut back in June 14, 2024. And judging by the wave of positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, it would seem that this sequel is just as much a hit as the first Inside Out film, which made its debut all the way back in 2015. It would seem that director Kelsey Mann has lived up to Pete Docter’s success from that first film. Seriously. This film is the highest-grossing animated film of all time, the fastest animated film to reach $1 billion globally, and is currently the 8th highest grossing film in global box office history. You can’t get much more successful than that.
Alas, quite a few of you might not have attended that theatrical debut for any number of reasons. Maybe your schedule precluded you from traveling to your local theater? Or perhaps you’re not fond of sitting in a crowded theater with potentially hundreds of other people? Well, don’t worry about that. Disney has your back here. Or at least, they will once they’re actually streaming Inside Out 2. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out Disney‘s official TV spot below, and see for yourself if this next step in Riley’s journey of life appeals to you?

Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen.
