Striker might be the best band that you haven’t heard of, that you need to listen to. They combine classic metal stylings with a jovial style of thrash metal and classic metal. Their newest album ULTRAPOWER released earlier this year and was a breath of fresh air. They have a new music video out for a track off the second half of the album in “Live To Fight Another Day.”

The new album combines their normal metal stylings with a bit of synthwave, a whole lot of ’80s, and even a softer side of the band on some of the tracks. Overall, it’s an incredibly positive experience from a vibes standpoint and from a critical standpoint. Here’s what the band had to say about the track.

“Originally this was just a regular Striker song. Tim had the idea that we should just try turning it into a synth-wave track. It fits like a glove. We’ve always been into Synthwave but never had the guts to do it ourselves. Until now! This is our first attempt at it and we are stoked about how it turned out. This one is another track about keeping it together and taking on life one day at a time.”

They’ve also announced a new North American Tour with Seven Kingdoms, Lutharo, and Osyron kicking off in November.
