“El Candidato Honesto” is heading to U.S. theaters from Pantelion Films. This Mexican comedy opened in Mexico last week as the top local film at $2 million. This is a hysterical variation of the classic “Liar Liar” that is set against the backdrop of today’s political climate. It stars the hilarious Adrián Uribe, along with Mariana Seoane, and Teresa Ruiz.
