Universal’s “Twisters” continues to do well this summer, still in the top five movies at the box office. But if you’re ready for another wild ride into the eye of the storm, you can also do so from the comfort of your home! “Twisters” is now available exclusively on digital platforms to own or rent from Universal Home Entertainment. It also includes a bonus gag reel and deleted scenes.

A CHAT WITH THE VFX SUPERVISOR

With the digital release of “Twisters” I spoke with Ben Snow. He was the Visual Effects Supervisor on the film from Industrial Light & Magic. Snow gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the natural forces known as tornadoes that headline the film. He shares with us their focus on real-life weather patterns and tornadoes that inspired their work. As well as some of the new VFX developed for this movie that can be applied now to future projects. With the small window of 4DX screenings this summer, Universal will be bringing back “Twisters” to those screens from August 30th through September 5th. It is one of the best ways to experience the film!
