At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, we got a closer look at “Alien: Rogue Incursion”. This is a brand-new single-player action-horror VR game from Survios in collaboration with 20th Century Games. This will immerse players in the horrific world of the Alien franchise like never before.

ABOUT ALIEN: ROGUE INCURSION

“Alien: Rogue Incursion” will allow you to play as a character named Zula Hendricks for the first time. In the game, you’ll face intelligent Xenomorphs that choose their paths to attack. Furthermore, Xenomorphs spawn dynamically based on your actions, meaning you’re never safe. Fans of the franchise will be excited to use iconic weapons and gear. Including the Pulse Rifle, Motion Tracker, and more. The game was created using Unreal Engine.

CREATING THE VR TERROR

To learn more about the making of the VR game, Manny spoke with Eugene Elkin and Tate Mosesian at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Mosesian is the Studio Art Director for Survios, and Elkin is the lead Software Engineer for Survios. During our conversation, we talked about the coincidence that the game will be coming out the same year as the film, “Alien: Romulus”. They also talked about the terror in making the game. Saying that there were times people were testing the game resulting in screaming and VR sets being ripped off. It was a fun conversation that you can check out below!
