Funko Fusion is a brand-new game coming out from 10:10 Games. What exactly is it about? Well, it looks to combine the gameplay of those classic LEGO games from yesteryear with some more edgy content. 10:10 Games is made up of some old members of the Traveler’s Tales studio and new, fresh minds that are bringing some of the best Universal Pictures IP and other IPs from around the world into the world of Funko. It stars Freddy Funko as he fights with his evil counterpart, Eddie Funko. We got to sit down with several of the creatives and crew behind the game, including Arthur Parsons, Co-Founder and Design Director for 10:10 Games, Jason Bischoff, VP of Licensing & Business Development at Funko, Kellen Goff, voice actor for Freddy Fazbear of Five Nights At Freddy’s in the game, and John Melchior, Executive Producer at Universal.
This was after their blockbuster panel at San Diego Comic-Con where they went over all the new details of the game, including all the properties that are in the game at launch like The Thing, Back To The Future, Jurassic Park/World, Invincible, The Walking Dead, and more.
After seeing the panel and talking to the creatives behind the game; I can safely say that Funko Fusion is high up on my most-anticipated list for 2024. The game releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on September 13th. It releases on PS4 and Nintendo Switch on November 15th.
