Creepy, kooky, spooky, and headed to Los Angeles Comic-Con: Academy award winner Anjelica Huston joins this year’s convention!
Huston, who played Morticia Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), will hit the main stage during LA Comic Con this October. She will take place in a special Addams Family cast reunion panel, which will also feature stars Christopher Lloyd (Uncle Fester), Christina Ricci (Wednesday), Carel Struycken (Lurch), and Jimmy Workman (Pugsley).
“We are thrilled for the fans to experience this reunion,” said. “Anjelica is a legend who has starred in so many fan-favorite films. However, she has rarely appeared at Cons to celebrate her role as Morticia Addams — so we know this will be a special spooky October treat for the fans who hold The Addams Family dear to their heart,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of Los Angeles Comic Con parent company CEI.
In addition to her iconic appearance as the matriarch of the Addams family, fans will recognize Huston as the terrifying Grand High Witch from Roald Dahl’s The Witches. She received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for her role in Prizzi’s Honor. Huston’s credits also include Ever After, Smash, and This Is Spinal Tap, as well as voice roles in Star Wars: Visions and The Bad Batch. She will soon reprise her role as The Director for the John Wick franchise feature Ballerina.
Several other fan-favorite franchises will also gather together at LA Comic Con this year. Look out for the Back to the Future cast reunion panel, as well as big names from Star Wars.
