When you’re walking through the hallowed halls of San Diego Comic-Con, there’s definitely a good chance that you’ll find yourself squeezed into a narrow aisle or an overstuffed panel room. But when it comes to professional wrestling, no one knows about being “Freshly Squeezed” better than Orange Cassidy.
During this year’s SDCC, That Hashtag Show had the pleasure of speaking to the former two-time AEW International Champion about a wide range of topics. First, since Cassidy was fresh off of the hectic panel that led Tony Khan to book Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. Mercedes Mone for All In London, we discussed his penchant for panel moderation. He also showed off his new hardware as he participated in a grueling tournament alongside Willow Nightingale to earn the inaugural AEW x Adult Swim Battle For The Booty Championship.
The fan-favorite superstar also showed a bit of a vulnerable side as he touched on his critics from early on in his AEW run and his secret to making new friends after the Best Friends heartbreakingly fell apart earlier this year.
You can see our entire conversation with Orange Cassidy from the That Hashtag Show YouTube channel below:
Orange Cassidy and the entire All Elite Wrestling roster can be seen every Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, every Friday on AEW Rampage, and every Saturday on AEW Collision. Plus, AEW is heading across the pond to Wembley Stadium once again for the blockbuster event All In London on Sunday, August 25, 2024, which will be headlined by “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs. AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in a Title vs. Career match.
