Get ready to celebrate Disney Princesses and inspire girls everywhere! Disney kicked off a multi-year campaign today that hopes to give girls the opportunity and tools to use their imaginations, try new things, and believe in themselves, while not forgetting the fun and magic that Disney Princesses bring to every part of life.
The “Create Your World” celebration will span every aspect of Disney products and experiences, including theatrical and streaming content, Disney Parks experiences, new music cover releases, consumer products, and more. In alignment with the “Create Your World” theme, each experience is designed to encourage fans of all ages to discover their own brand of Princess magic within themselves.

Reimagined Disney Princess Anthems
As part of “Create Your World,” Disney will collaborate with musical artists from different genres to reimagine Princess songs. The first release comes from Grammy-winner Coco Jones, who recorded Tiana’s “Almost There”. Jones’ track celebrates the 15th anniversary of the film The Princess and the Frog. It will officially hit streaming platforms on August 9.
Additional covers of classic Disney Princess songs will debut throughout the “Create Your World” campaign. So, stay tuned to see if your favorite gets a new cover.
New Princess Content & Milestone Film Anniversaries
Fans can experience new Disney Princess content and revisit old favorites during the “Create Your World” campaign. Upcoming releases include:
- Disney Jr.’s Ariel, new episodes streaming now on Disney+
- LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest special, streaming now on YouTube
- LEGO Pixar Brave short, streaming on Disney+ in September
- Moana 2, in theaters November 27
The campaign will also highlight milestone anniversaries for films like Cinderella (1950), The Little Mermaid (1989), and Pocahontas (1995).
Create Your World Disney Princess Products
During “Create Your World,” Disney will unveil new and exclusive products. The full list of products will be released at a later date, but here’s a few already confirmed to look out for:
- A special edition vinyl soundtrack of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, celebrating its 35th anniversary. The soundtrack will be available from Disney Music Emporium, hitting pre-order today and releasing August 23.
- The Disney Princess Deluxe Day Spa Style Set from JAKKS Pacific
- The Disney Princess Market Adventure set from LEGO Group
- The Carriage to Castle Transforming Playset from Mattel
- Once Upon a Story Mini Doll Playsets from the Disney Store
- The Disney Store Disney Princess roleplay line, featuring characters like Belle, Rapunzel, and more.

Celebrating Disney Princesses At D23
Disney Princesses will be highlighted throughout D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, taking place August 9-11. Programming and special events will include:
- Disney Princess – The Concert featuring the extremely talented Tony Award®-nominee Susan Egan (original ‘Belle’ in Beauty and the Beast, the voice of ‘Meg’ in Hercules (1997)), Grammy Award-nominee Courtney Reed (Broadway’s original ‘Jasmine’ in Aladdin), and BroadwayWorld Award-winner Syndee Winters (‘Nala’ in The Lion King on Broadway). During this special performance, Grammy award-winning artist Coco Jones will be performing live, for the very first time, her new take of the fan-favorite Princess and the Frog anthem, “Almost There.”
- Disney Princess: Creating Tiana’s World panel. Host Yvette Nicole Brown facilitates an inspiring conversation with Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Tiana; director of Disney+ Original series Tiana, Joyce Sherrí; and Disney Imagineers Charita Carter, executive creative producer, Ted Robledo, portfolio executive creative director, and Carmen Smith, SVP Creative Development & Inclusive Strategies, Disney Experiences, as they peek into all the ways Tiana’s iconic story and vibrant world continues to be brought to life.
- World of Disney: The Product Experience shopping location within the event, guests can snap a photo alongside life size LEGO builds of beautiful Disney Princess dresses and participate in an interactive LEGO mural.
World Princess Week (August 25 – 31) At Disney Parks & Beyond
After D23, we soon head into World Princess Week, taking place August 25 – 31. Fans visiting Disney Parks this week can look out for specialty food and events, including:
- Disneyland Paris will celebrate with an expanded presence of beloved Disney Princess characters at Disneyland Park starting August 25, including the exclusive show “Live Your Story – a Disney Princess Celebration,” and specialty Disney Princess-themed food and beverage items.
- Hong Kong Disneyland will also join the festivities from August 1 to September 1, with the celebratory “Royal Enchantment: A Princess Processional” every Friday to Sunday, featuring beloved Disney Princess characters in Fantasyland and new princess-themed cupcakes at Royal Banquet Hall. Additionally, guests may find fan-favorite princess characters appearing daily in Adventureland.
- Walt Disney World guests will have a chance to experience the new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and may also feel like royalty with delectable food and beverage items available throughout August.
- Disneyland Resort guests can purchase princess-themed novelty sippers, while supplies last.
Meanwhile, Disney Emoji Blitz will also celebrate World Princess Week with the brand-new Aventurine Tiana emoji. Fans will have the chance to earn her emoji in the Rhythm on the River Token Quest (August 21 – 30).
At home, Princesses-in-training can enjoy specially curated World Princess Week programming on Disney Channel. Disney Jr. will also present a slate of programming, including new episodes of Disney Jr.’s Ariel, throughout the week.
Create Your World & Disney Travel Experiences
Princess stories will come to life aboard the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Treasure. When the ship sets sail in December, guests can experience Broadway-style shows bringing characters like Moana and Belle to life.
You can also book a guided group vacation through Adventures by Disney, with special itineraries inspired by Disney Princess stories. These vacations allow families to explore real-world destinations like Scotland, France, Germany, and China, experiencing the cultures and settings that shaped tales of Princesses like Merida, Belle, Rapunzel, and Mulan. Crafted by Disney experts, each journey offers exclusive activities and authentic experiences meant to bring Disney magic to life and create a lifetime of magical memories.
New Create Your World Disney Princess Stories
As part of the “Create Your World” campaign, Disney Publishing will roll out several new princess-themed books for readers of all ages to enjoy. Here’s a look at some of the titles debuting soon:
- Rapunzel: Paintbrush Pals, a global release that explores Rapunzel’s creativity and the inspiration behind some of the murals in her tower.
- Leading Ladies! Little Golden Book, where all thirteen Princesses take center stage to tell stories about leadership, empowerment, and community.
- A Cinderella Pop-Up Book from Insight Editions and world-renowned paper engineer Matthew Reinhart that tells the beloved tale in a whole new way by bringing the iconic scenes and characters to life in vibrant detail.
- Tiana’s Perfect Plan, a never–before–seen New Orleans adventure from the voice of Tiana herself, Disney Legend Anika Noni Rose.
- A Sword in the Slumber from the Queen’s Council series by Sara Raasch, which tells a thrilling reimagining of Princess Aurora’s fairy tale.
- Tangled Up In You, a witty and deeply romantic modern reimagining of Disney’s Tangled by Christina Lauren.
Create Your World Giveback Campaigns
Disney will team up with Make-A-Wish® and Starlight Children’s Foundation® to bring Princess Magic to 450 children’s hospitals and pediatric care facilities across the US. This will include deliveries of Disney Princess toys, books, games, and more to young patients. Disney and Starlight will also unveil a new Princess Jasmine gown to its existing line of Disney Princess-themed hospital gowns. The new Jasmine gown will be unveiled at a special event at the Seattle Children’s Hospital.
