Check it out below:
The teaser clip initially debuted at AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe panel during SDCC. The footage shows Sam Reid’s vampire Lestat in full rock-glam, and even teases a bit of singing.
Here’s the official tease for season 3 of Interview with the Vampire from AMC:
In season three, resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy bestseller “Interview With The Vampire,” the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can—by starting a band and going on tour. Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma. No Auto-Tuning. No Trigger Warnings. All Feels Amplified.
Reid took part in the SDCC panel, which also featured series stars Assad Zaman (Armond) and Delainey Hayles (Claudia). The actors were joined on stage by showrunner and executive producer Rolin Jones, production designer Mara LePere-Schloop, and composer Daniel Hart. In addition to discussions about the series and the debut of Lestat’s rocker look, the panel also dropped a fun blooper reel from season 2 of Interview with the Vampire. Check it out below.
Interview with the Vampire is AMC’s first series in its Anne Rice Immortal Universe. The universe also includes Mayfair Witches and the upcoming series The Talamasca.
