Get ready, Marvel fans! Marvel Studios hit Hall H at San Diego Comic Con to reveal news about the latest from the MCU. Here’s a look at everything that happened during the panel.

Captain America: Brave New World
- The cast stopped by Hall H to promote Captain America: Brave New World. The feature will be one of three MCU films to debut in 2025.
- Giancarlo Esposito joins the MCU as the King of the Serpent Society, Sidewinder.
- Attendees see footage from a new trailer which references the Celestials (from Eternals), and introduces Adamantium to the MCU. We also see Ross transform into the Red Hulk at a White House press conference.
- Harrison Ford appears on the Hall H stage.
Thunderbolts*
- The main cast appears together on stage.
- David Harbor arrives in his full Red Guardian attire and says to the rest of the (normally dressed) cast, “You guys didn’t dress up?” He also jokes that he got his costume on Etsy.
- Julia Louis-Dreyfus says her character Valentina is after power and control in Thunderbolts*.
- Sebastian Stan describes playing Bucky Barnes again as “like having 9 lives and not knowing how many he has left.”
- New footage shows Yelena (Florence Pugh) going to see Alexi (Harbor). She discusses feeling an emptiness and a lack of purpose in her life, like she’s just drifting. We also see a fight between Ghost (Hannah-John Kamen) and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). “There are bad guys, and there are worse guys.”
The Fantastic Four
- The Fantastic Four releases one year from today – July 27, 2025.
- Director Matt Shakman joins the stage at Hall H.
- The Fantastic Four is set in a version of 1960’s New York that’s “part the New York you know, and part something new.”
- Pre-shooting filming animation shows Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards as a science professor, then as a pilot with Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). We also see Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) as a contestant on a dating show. It concluded with a glimpse of Galactus.
- The core cast joins Shakman on stage: Pascal, Moss-Bachrach, Quinn, and Vanessa Kirby.
Avengers 5 & 6
- Marvel officially confirms that the Russo Brothers will return to direct the fifth and sixth installments of Avengers.
- Joe and Anthony Russo hit the Hall H stage. They say they never thought they’d be back – their earlier work in the MCU left them “creatively spent, with all emotions on the floor.”
- Avengers 5 & 6 titles revealed!
- Doomsday, premiering May 2026.
- The film will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom.
- Secret Wars, premiering May 2027.
