Solar Opposites is a rather oddball show. Not just because it’s another adult animated sitcom, but because of the sci-fi-flavored aspects of its comedy. The combination of these has apparently made this show extremely popular. So much so that it just dropped a new trailer for its upcoming season 5. Don’t believe me? At the Hulu panel during San Diego Comic-Con 2024 (SDCC 2024), Hulu dropped the new official trailer for Solar Opposites season 5 there, which they subsequently also uploaded to YouTube. Said trailer also reveals that we will get to see this upcoming season on August 12, 2024 for a total of 11 episodes, not including the Halloween special coming later this year. This will still be a Hulu exclusive, so you will need a subscription there to watch this new season.

Moreover, though, Dan Stevens (voice of Korvo Opposites) also revealed in that same panel that Hulu has renewed Solar Opposites for season 6. Keep in mind: season 5 hasn’t even been released yet. It’s a sign of how high a hope Hulu is putting on this show.
