Searchlight Pictures has released the first teaser for the upcoming Bob Dylan biographical drama, A Complete Unknown. The film stars Timothée Chalamet as the legendary singer-songwriter. A Complete Unknown is directed by James Mangold (Logan, Ford v Ferrari) and based on Elijah Wald’s 2015 book Dylan Goes Electric. This is not the first musician biopic from Mangold, who previously helmed the Johnny Cash film, Walk the Line. The film is set to premiere in theatres in December 2024. In addition to Chalamet, the film stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, and Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash. Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Dan Fogler as Albert Grossman, P.J. Byrne as Harold Leventhal, Norbert Leo Butz as Alan Lomax, Will Harrison as Bob Neuwirth and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie.
