After 6.5 million viewers across multiple platforms were left in shock following the season one finale, The Ark has finally returned to SyFy with an all-new chapter in this tale of intergalactic survival. When we last saw the crew of the Ark One, they were in incredibly rough shape. Viewers didn’t even know who survived being caught in the explosion of a planet. So ahead of the season two premiere, we here at That Hashtag Show went out in search of answers.
So, to promote the current season of the fan-favorite sci-fi series, we spoke to star Christie Burke and co-showrunners Dean Devlin and Jonathan Glassner about what is in store for the intrepid explorers of the Ark One. During our conversation, the EPs shared some insight into when they learned about the series renewal and what goes into the decisions regarding big character moments. Then, Burke discussed how the events of the season premiere will affect Sharon Garnet moving forward before the trio touched on what makes them most proud of the initially reluctant captain. Plus, the performer even teased a potential romance for Garnet in the upcoming episodes.
