Apple TV+’s upcoming live-action family series “Me” is a sophisticated cinematic coming-of-age narrative created by Barry L. Levy (Vantage Point).
“Me” follows Ben, a 12-year-old navigating the challenges of middle school life. Of course that includes bullies, crushes, and school dances. So, as he adapts to a newly blended family, Ben discovers he possesses superpowers. Then, throughout the 10-episode season, Ben embarks on a journey of self-discovery, exploring the true significance of his abilities. With the support of his step-sister Max, Ben learns to control his powers and unravel the enigmas and tragedies within his community, all while grappling with his identity as Ben.
